we are
River Valley Apiaries began back in 1982 as the dream of David Vander Dussen to make Stirling-Rawdon the place to go to get pure, locally produced honey. As his interest in bee health grew, the store moved to the care of his wife, Mary, and two friends under the name Twin Sisters Hive and Honey Products for last 15 years.
Now, over 40 years later, the dream continues to buzz in the heart of their daughter Emma Persaud. She’s keeping the business of bees buzzing through Stirling, helping the village stay sweet year after year.
